Diversity Committees

Both Cabell Huntington Hospital (CHH) and St. Mary's Medical Center (SMMC) formed diversity committees in 2020 to facilitate the development of organizational diversity and inclusion initiatives and to champion the adoption and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout Marshall Health Network.

The committees' goals are to:

• Develop and recommend appropriate policies and procedures in furtherance of diversity and inclusion at Marshall Health Network
• Set and review goals and objectives of the diversity program and actively monitor progress.
• Identify opportunities for growth and improvement to further diversity within MHN. Develop and recommend programs and education to educate the workforce and increase awareness for the purpose of creating and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace
